This is a comfortable, intensive walk designed especially for small groups of 2–6 people, conducted in English. In three hours we can show you the most important sights and tell their stories in an engaging, lively way tailored to your interests. It’s an ideal solution when you have limited time, are visiting briefly, or simply prefer an intimate, personal tour rather than a mass itinerary.
During a private walk you control the pace, questions are welcome, and the guide can focus on what interests you most — architecture, legends, Jewish culture, everyday life past and present, or anecdotes about Krakow personalities. The route is flexible: if you prefer a more historical tour we’ll concentrate on Wawel and the Old Town; if you prefer atmospheric streets and local vibe we’ll choose Kazimierz and Podgórze.
Tours are led by a licensed guide (licensed since 2012) who has guided thousands of visitors and knows both the major facts and the small, funny details that really bring a walk to life.
Royal Route + Wawel (classic) - we start at the Barbican or St. Florian’s Gate, walk along Floriańska Street to the Main Market Square: Cloth Hall, St. Mary’s Church, stories of medieval life, and then continue to Wawel with tales of kings, the cathedral and legends connected to the hill. This is a perfect option if you want to discover the "essence" of Krakow.
Kazimierz and Podgórze - for those who prefer the district atmosphere: synagogues, Jewish stories, Kazimierz cafés, followed by a short transfer/walk to Podgórze, where the former ghetto and Schindler’s Factory are located. This route carries strong cultural and emotional weight.
Short thematic version - if you have specific interests (Krakow legends, food, architecture, or a family-friendly route), three hours are enough to focus on a chosen theme and see its most interesting points.
If you wish, I can also plan a combined route — for example a fragment of the Royal Route with a short stop in Kazimierz — everything depends on the group’s pace and preferences.
I’m Malgorzata Kasprowicz — born in Krakow, a licensed guide since 2012, and someone who has guided thousands of visitors on hundreds of tours. I like to tell stories colorfully, with humor and attention to detail so that both adults and children leave the tour smiling and with new knowledge.
My walks combine solid, accurate information with a light form: anecdotes, local curiosities, questions for the group and interaction. I have experience guiding school groups, families, seniors and international guests, so I can adjust pace and content to different needs. I also provide audio-headset sets for greater comfort in crowded places.
Practically: I can help with practical information about museum tickets, accessibility and logistical tips — so your day in Krakow runs smoothly.
For small groups (1–35 people) the English-language tour prices on the site are indicative. The standard price for a 3-hour tour in English is about 600 PLN, and during promotions it can be 500 PLN — for small private groups (e.g. 2–6 people) this is a very convenient option per person.
The price usually includes professional guiding and preparation of the route, but does not include entrance fees to museums and some attractions if we plan visits to paid sites (for example selected chambers at Wawel or museums). I can help book tickets or advise the best order of visits to avoid queues.
Audio-headset sets are available for an extra fee (approx. 8 PLN/person) and improve audibility in crowded places. I can also issue vouchers on request — a popular gift idea.
Meeting point and start - we agree on a clearly defined meeting place (for example by St. Florian’s Gate or at the Market Square), which I will confirm in the reservation message. Please be punctual — three hours go by quickly!
What to bring - comfortable shoes, water, a charged phone/camera, documents entitling to discounts (if anyone in your group has a student ID, for example), and an umbrella or light jacket in case of rain.
Tickets and entries - if you want to enter paid attractions, it’s best to tell me when booking. Often it’s worth buying tickets online in advance or leaving it to me — I will help reserve the appropriate entries and save time.
Accessibility - most routes through the Old Town are accessible for people with limited mobility, but some historic sites have stairs and narrow passages. If anyone in the group has special needs, please write this when booking — I will adapt the route.
Booking - it’s best to write via the booking form on ZwiedzanieKrakowa.com or send an e-mail with your preferred date, time, number of people and a short note about the group’s interests (e.g. history, culture, food, family route). This helps me prepare the perfect plan.
Payment - I usually accept bank transfer, card payment or cash; details are confirmed at booking. In case of cancellation please inform me in advance — I usually offer flexible terms for small groups, but exact conditions are described in the booking confirmation.
Voucher - if you want to buy the tour as a gift, vouchers are available and can be used on an agreed date.
Is the walk really private? - Yes. A private walk for your group means no outside participants and full adjustment of pace and content to you.
Does the guide speak English? - Yes, I offer guiding in English at a level that enables smooth communication and engaging storytelling.
How many people can be in the group? - The offer is ideal for small groups of 2–6 people, but I also serve larger groups — in that case the organization and possible audio equipment may change.
What if it rains? - Walks usually take place regardless of the weather unless conditions are extreme. In case of heavy rain I suggest quick route modifications or short breaks in cafés.
Are museum tickets included in the price? - Entrance fees to museums and paid sites are not included by default; however, I can help with their reservation.
Are the routes suitable for children and seniors? - Yes — routes can be easily adapted: we choose pace, length of breaks and stopping points to suit the group.
Krakow is a city best discovered step by step, listening to stories told by someone who loves their city. If you want to feel the atmosphere of the Old Town, hear legends about dragons and royal families, taste local stories or immerse yourself in the vibe of Kazimierz — I invite you to a private three-hour English walk.
On ZwiedzanieKrakowa.com you will find the booking form and more details about available routes, prices and vouchers. I will gladly answer all questions and help plan the perfect day in Krakow — see you on the walk!
Warm regards, Malgorzata Kasprowicz — Krakow guide.
