This is a private, two-hour tour focused on the Rynek Underground Museum and the area around the Main Market Square — designed for VIPs, business delegations, conference organisers and groups who value comfort, discretion and flexibility.
During the visit I combine museum storytelling with tales about everyday life in medieval and early-modern Kraków, showing both the key exhibits and small curiosities that stay with you. The route is planned to give a full but not exhausting experience within two hours.
If you are arriving with clients, business partners or a delegation — this option provides professional guiding while keeping privacy and a pace tailored to your guests. As a licensed guide authorised to lead in the Rynek Underground, I also assist with ticket reservations and coordinating entry so everything runs smoothly. (licensed guide since 2012)
- In short: 2 hours, private group, an experienced guide accustomed to business guests, help with ticket booking and logistics.
I usually plan the route to make the most of two hours while keeping comfort and a pace suited to the group:
- Start: brief welcome and setting expectations (meeting point confirmed at booking).
- Entry to the Rynek Underground: touring the museum exhibition — the history of the Market, archaeological finds, stories of trade and everyday life in medieval Kraków.
- Stops at the main points of the Main Market Square: the Cloth Hall (Sukiennice), St. Mary’s Basilica, surviving fragments of historic buildings, and memorable anecdotes tied to the place.
- Finish: summary, time for questions, practical tips (restaurants, transfer logistics, other attractions to combine).
I always tailor the programme to the group’s character — more historical facts or more economic and cultural context if it’s a business group.
The Rynek Underground is a popular site with a limited number of entry slots, so I recommend booking in advance. For private group bookings I offer support with:
- coordinating the museum entry time,
- purchasing tickets for specific time slots (I help with the formalities and ensuring entry),
- arranging sets of headphones if the group needs them (they improve listening comfort for larger groups),
- adjusting the meeting point and start time to company needs (for example, a quick finish before the next meeting).
With this approach we minimise waiting time and maximise the visit. Please tell me the number of people and your preferred time slots — I’ll handle the reservation details.
A private tour for business guests is more than the route itself: it’s flexibility, discretion and extra options:
- flexible start times (sometimes outside standard museum hours if possible and arranged in advance),
- discretion and an individual pace, without crowds or public commentary,
- shortened or extended versions of the route according to the delegation’s time frame,
- logistical help: recommended hotels, restaurants, transfers, and parking for company cars.
My experience with delegations and VIPs lets me take care of details that matter to business guests — punctuality, clear communication and professional conduct.
Guide fees depend on many factors (date, language, group size, extra services). As a rough guide for a private, Polish-language 2-hour tour, I provide a price range that may vary with season and promotions:
- guiding service for 2 hours: approximately 300–350 PLN per group (seasonal discounts or promotions may lower this),
- headphone sets / audio-guide for larger groups: additional fee for equipment (usually a small amount per person),
- help with booking Rynek Underground tickets: included in the guiding service (coordination),
If you need an invoice, a voucher for participants or confirmations for a travel agency — I can prepare these on request.
- Meeting point: arranged individually — usually a central spot on the Main Market Square or a hotel reception. Please ensure guests wear comfortable shoes (parts of the route and the Underground have museum surfaces and walking areas).
- Duration: 2 hours is optimal for the Rynek Underground plus a short surface walk around the Market without rushing.
- Entry: please be punctual — museum entries are at set times and delays may require rescheduling.
- Language: I guide in Polish and in foreign languages on request — please notify me in advance if you need an English version.
- Weather: although the Underground is indoors, part of the tour is outside on the surface — in case of rain I make small organisational adjustments.
Do I need to buy tickets in advance? - Yes, for a private group booking advance reservation is recommended. I assist with buying tickets and ensuring entry.
How many people can be in a private group? - Typically private groups range from a few people to several dozen; for very large groups we should discuss logistics and audio equipment in advance.
Is the tour suitable for seniors and people with limited mobility? - The Underground includes sections with stairs and uneven surfaces. Please inform me about special needs when booking — I will propose the best solution.
Can I combine this tour with other activities (e.g., lunch, business meeting)? - Certainly. I’m happy to help plan the rest of the day: I can recommend trusted restaurants and advise on timing and transfer logistics.
Can I receive an invoice or a voucher? - Yes, I issue invoices and prepare vouchers on request, ideal as a gift or official confirmation for participants.
To reserve a date or request a tailored offer for your group, please send the following information:
- preferred dates and times,
- number of participants,
- language of the tour,
- special needs (e.g., accessibility, wheelchair users, interpreter needs),
- billing details and any additional requests (voucher, company programme).
After receiving your request I will confirm availability, suggest an optimal plan and take care of the Rynek Underground ticket booking and entry coordination.
- Book in advance: the best slots and convenient entry times disappear early, especially in high season.
- Communication: confirm the meeting point and preferred contact method (SMS, phone, email) for guests’ comfort.
- Time for business conversations: if you plan a short meeting after the tour, allow an extra 30–60 minutes for lunch or coffee.
- Comfort and privacy: for delegations I recommend clarifying expectations about pace and the level of detail in advance.
My goal is to make your guests feel well cared for and to ensure the tour is both substantively valuable and enjoyable.
If you’d like to book a private Rynek Underground tour for VIPs or a business group, write or call — we will arrange the details and tailor the offer to your needs.
When enquiring, please provide basic information (date, number of people, language) — I will handle ticket booking, plan the entry and match the programme to your requirements.
I look forward to guiding your guests through the extraordinary Rynek Underground and bringing Kraków’s history to life in an engaging, business-friendly way. See you soon!
